lntroducing Jhalokathi TTC. Jhalokathi Technical training Centre ( Jhalokathi TTC) was established in the year 2012 by the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. It is Directly Controlled by the Bureau of manpower employment and training (BMET). Presently BMET is under administrative control of Ministry of Expatriates'Welfare and Overseas Employment. Jhalokathi Technical Training Center is located at the north side of the Jhalokathi city attached to Barishal Jhalokathi high way road at Bikna, Sadar-8400. Jhalokathi and occupies an area of 02 (Two) acres land. First Training started on 2014. The campus is'a residential and includes 1 computer labs, 5 workshops, a library and a science lab. It has six department's such as a)Computer, b) Electronics, c) Electrical, d) Refrigeration and air conditioning, e) Automotive, f) Plastic Technology. We provide basically two'types of courses such as short course (Six months, Three Months, 21 Days) and VOC SSC 2years (Class 9 and 10). Jhalokathi TTC has various fields of technical tiraining courses such as Computer application, Graphics Design, Electronics, Electrical, Refrigeration and air conditioning, Automotive, Plastic Technology, House Keeping, and spoken English Course. Our Current Student seat capacity per department is 80. It aims to become a world class Technical Training Centre with the vision by making skill manpower for poverty reduction, jobless problem, self employed, and export skill manpower. We also encourage to give training to the dropout students. lt maintains a constant link with industries and businesses.
